Rosh Hashanah is approaching and that means kasha varnishkes — קאשה ורנישקס. So far, I’ve found whole roasted buckwheat (כוסמת), which is relatively easy to come by. It’s not the medium granulation my family always uses (Wolff’s brand), but we’ll give it a shot.
